About The Farmer:

Our 100% free range, premium pork is farmed locally by The Cornish Farmhouse Bacon Company, a family run business with over 20 years of experience, just 10 miles up the road from Strawberry Fields Farm Shop. These large white x landrace pigs are fed on home grown cereals and only have to move a few hundred yards to the abattoir, keeping any stress for the pigs to a minimum and a saving in fuel to benefit to the environment. Where possible, the pig manure is put back into the soil, reducing use of artificial fertilizer when growing crops, giving the soil a full circle of life and creating a natural, highly fertile cropping system.
